SKYTEX Technology Inc. warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from original date of purchase. This warranty extends to new SKYPAD, IMAGINE, and SKYTAB tablets purchased from an authorized U.S. reseller/retailer by the original purchaser or consumer who may have received the product as a gift. Retain and provide the original bill of sale (or photocopy) as proof of purchase in case the product requires service. It is also recommended that you retain the original box and inner packaging to provide information for required services.
The Limited Warranty does not apply to expendable or consumable parts and does not extend to any non-SKYTEX branded products. Warranty does not apply (a) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, broken plastic on ports; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by service (including upgrades, software, or expansions) performed by anyone not of a representative of SKYTEX Customer and Technical Support; (d) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of SKYTEX product; (e) to any misuse, repair, fixation, or service operated or conducted on the product not authorized by a SKYTEX technician or representative, or (f) to any removed, defaced, tampered serial number seals.
Warranty service for a product return shall be provided only after a return authorization number (RMA#) is provided to you by our customer support representative. During the warranty period, SKYTEX will provide at no charge, service repairs using new or replacement parts. In certain cases your product may need to be replaced with a refurbished model that has been performance tested to meet or exceed factory specifications. Service provided or refurbished replacement is warranted for the duration of the original warranty period or 45 days, whichever is greater. Warranty extends to defects in materials or workmanship and does not cover cosmetic imperfections, damage incurred during shipment to SKYTEX, misuse, natural disasters, modifications, accidental drops that crack the screen, connection to improper equipment, or repairs conducted by an unauthorized party. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package; inside the box please include a photocopy of the store receipt (proof of purchase) and a description of the issue with the product and serial number.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
If after following the user manual and quick start guide, should you find it necessary to contact Customer Support, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 909-923-8818, from 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri (Pacific Time). Have your date of purchase, serial number, and a full understanding of the issue ready for your customer support representative. You will be provided with a return authorization number (RMA#) number. You are responsible for the transportation costs and protective packaging associated with shipping the product to SKYTEX safely. It is recommended to ship the product using a transportation service that provides tracking information.
Return requests that do not contain a proof of purchase, such as a store receipt, will not be processed.
Removal or alteration of the factory-supplied serial number invalidates this warranty.
This warranty does NOT cover products sold AS IS or WITH FAULTS.
This warranty does not extend to products sold outside of the U.S.A.
EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES SPECIFICALLY EXPRESSED IN THIS AGREEMENT, SKYTEX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THOSE WARRANTIES WHICH ARE IMPLIED BY AND/OR INCAPABLE OF EXCLUSION, RESTRICTION OR MODIFICATION BY AN APPLICABLE LAW. THE TERM OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THIS WARRANTY AGREEMENT. SKYTEX’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THIS PRODUCT PLUS ANY INTEREST ALLOWED BY LAW IF AN APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST. SKYTEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF USE, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED AND HOWEVER ALLEGED, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THOSE DAMAGES WHICH AN APPLICABLE LAW RENDERS INCAPABLE OF LIMITATION, EXCLUSION OR RESTRICTION. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS AND/OR DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
